This charming hotel, built in typical, local style, consists of five separate buildings, interlinked by a series of steps, and conveys a relaxed, cosy atmosphere.

The hotel is set in its own extensive gardens, full of flowers and surrounded by oak, olive and juniper trees; all contrasting beautifully against the limestone colours of Monte Corrasi in the distance.  The hotel has a spring-fed swimming pool, mini golf course, two tennis courts, a gym, outdoor whirlpool and a children's playground.  A small health & beauty centre offers massages, facials and a hairdresser (at local cost).

Originally a restaurant, Su Gologone is well known throughout the island for its excellent cuisine, focusing on traditional Sardinian specialities.  The Winery offers tasting of wine, olive oil and cheese (at local cost). There is a piano bar and occasionally traditional singers and folk dancers.  Tablao’s Bar offers a ‘Happy Hour’ from 1800hrs. Once a week the hotel offers ‘Nest of the Bread’, where guests dine whilst watching traditional bread making and can sample local cheeses and vegetables.  The ‘Sa Horte e su Re’ is weekly Sardinian dinner and includes roast meats and traditional folklore dancing.  Both venues are included for guests on half board.

Furnished throughout in Sardinian style, no two rooms are alike in their delightful colour combinations.  Guests interested in arts & crafts will love Su Gologone’s “Art Shops”.  Created and designed by owner Giovanna Palimodde, the brand consists of beautiful, hand-made furnishings and crafts, including woven shawls, embroidered tablecloths, tapestries, cushions, wrought iron object, ceramics, jewellery and paintings.    Guests can learn new skills, as the shops offer various courses including embroidery, painting & drawing, mosaics and origami (at local cost).  A free weekly astronomy lesson is included on the Terrace of the Dreams.

Su Gologone is the perfect setting for guests wishing to explore the island's interior.  The hotel organises four-wheel drive and horse-trekking expeditions to the local Barbagia Mountains.  Walking and canoeing is also available.  The Su Gologone is some two hours drive south of Olbia airport and two and a half hours from Cagliari airport.  The unspoilt Cala Gonone coast is nearby and easily reached by car.
